My favorite place is just minutes away – a fun place to play on any old day. I don’t know how it came to be – this magic place where a silver pipe pours clean spring water into a claw foot bathtub twenty four hours a day! Oh there are those stores where people buy water in bottles for over a dollar – these stores are closer to this spot than a shout or a holler. I take my milk jugs and off we go up county “B” as far as it goes. I wish only that I could play the sound that sounds when the flowing spring water splashes the ground!

NOTE: I originally posted this in an environment where I could not post video….NOW you can hear the sound!
I wish I could lead you in the dark of night right to this place blinded from sight so you could hear beyond any fear the gurgle of angels and the weeping not sad

  1. Don’t you love places like that?

I was very much relieved to read, that you go to drink from the water so clean and not to take a dip in that tub which would beforehand sorely need a very good scrub.

  2. Yes ….the tub stained with the residue of a thousand droplets..and if one were to dip in it the effect would be pretty much like taking one of the coldest showers you can remember!

  3. *smiles* Awhile.

There was a place in Maine that I liked to visit. Its called Snow Falls. Lovely place. I used to sit and loose myself in that rushing water. I’d keep moving father and farther away from the falls as the day passed so that I could slowly shift into a quieter space before going home.

I think I once mentioned Screw Augur Falls to you. A good place to nap on the ledge the water flows over and let the vibration of the moving water sooth the soul too.

    Water is my element.

  4. Oh yes…how could anyone ever forget such a playful name as “Screw Augur Falls” with all of its sensual – sexual – playful connotations _¸,.»=椺²°

I lived in Maine for one summer in a Mill House in the country near Augusta. The bedroom where I slept was built over a rushing stream that filled the room with the sounds of gush, giver, grip.

  5. It is a playful name isn’t it? I deliberately mentioned it because I thought it would make you smile. *winks*

Now there’s an interesting set of sounds for water to make…lapping the underside of the house eh?

Relaxing sounds to sleep to I should think.
