4th Stage Oligarchy
You may have seen me use this label on any number of “political” posts on face book. Yes. It is a comparative reference to 4th Stage Cancer – when the malignancy has progressed to a point where little can be done to the system to save it.

The moniker “4th Stage Oligarchy”, Fighting Bob referred to as The Fourth Period – The Combination of Combinations. “The strife for more money, more power – more power, more money – swept everything before it. – From a speech delivered in Philadelphia, Feb. 2, 1912.
The threat has been ever present since the Industrial Revolution, and to give you a “feel” for that distance in time here is a speech by Fighting Bob delivered in 1910. Remember this speech on film was the cutting edge of technology at the time!
